There's exactly 123 days til the wedding, so I'm not quite to the 100 day mark but oh well. Here's everything we have done! This is definitely not dial-up friendly, lots of pictures! Edit: This isn't everything I have done, my fingers hurt. I'll put more on in the morning. =]

so much that it hurts sometimes. I don't want to seem weak and I don't want to beg. I just wish you'd realize how much I need you. I know you've moved on and I have, too, but sometimes it would be nice to go back.
I love you and I hope you're doing better.
love,
me

Is it possible to grow up and be an adult without losing your sense of self or your inner child?
Can you ever really lose a friend?
Which is harder: calling it quits with a friend or calling it quits with a romantic partner?
Why?
Is it possible to keep your friendships the same as they've always been?
If you and friends drift apart, how do you grow back together or can you?
Is it possible to be friends with former romantic partners without ever thinking about them sexually again?
How often do you think about friends that do not live in your immediate area (down the street, across town, same zip code, whatever)?
How far would you be willing to travel to see someone you once considered your best friend but have not seen in years?

Happy birthday to bettybaker... it's been a while since you had one of those, wasn't it? Something like ten months, give or take a few?
Today's Bridge: We made a few sacrifices that may or may not have worked out in our favor. Hard to tell... we played 4S with a seven-card spade fit and a ten-card diamond fit. Ew. The last hand was interesting, in that it made six but shouldn't even have made the four we bid. I had S K-x-x H K-J-x-x D A-J-x-x C J-x and Dan had S A-x H Q-x-x-x D Q-9-x-x C A-K-x. I opened 1D, he jumped to 3D, I bid 3H, he bid 4H, and I left it there because I was weak and didn't think we had a slam try. Indeed we didn't, but Ken led a spade, let me have two rounds of trump before playing his ace, and led the king of diamonds. He had four of them, but I cashed the jack on the second trick, giving me a Q-9 tenace on the board over his 10-x. Given the bidding, he could count Dan and me for eight diamonds, and he had four himself. A low diamond would be a natural lead, after which he can take the ace of hearts on the first trump trick and lead a second diamond for the ruff. It holds us to four, and I can't stop him from getting the king of diamonds as well, setting the contract.
Today's Gaming: I was weak and went back to Myst 4. I found one more clue, but I'm stumped at the last one. I searched everything I could think of to find what I need to do, but the nearest thing I think I've found to a hint was a dud, as far as I can tell. I'm feeling the temptation to use one of the hint systems... either online, or the in-game hint map. I really don't want to have to resort to that. There may be another option, given that I'm only missing one piece of the puzzle, but it would be pretty lame to take the guessing route.
I promised someone my opinion of Angel Diary, so here's my impression of the first book: I have no idea what's going on. ( Think you can figure out more than I did? Includes a bonus review. )
Waking up with a stiff neck wasn't particularly pleasant, so I'm going to lie down and hope it goes away by morning.

It's been a long time since I posted here. I'm the one with the engagement ring that looks like the Cookie Monster, and the suggestion that my two uncles who are priests arm-wrestle for who gets to perform the ceremony.
This post, however is not about my wedding, but my cousin's wedding in Copenhagen in May. I was just waiting to get hold of some pictures before posting about it.

We had our cake tasting/ordering tonight! It went wonderfully. I've been a long-time admirer of Ana Paz and her cakes for some time, so I was so excited when I heard she is the baker our venue works exclusively with. My fiance and I ordered our wedding cake and his groom's cake today. Ana is just such an adorable and talented lady. We both highly recommend her! For reference, we're located in South Florida. Ana works out of the Miami/Coral Gables area but comes up to the Fort Lauderdale area twice a month to do her tastings for us Broward/Palm Beach County folks. She comes to the Renaissance Hotel in Plantation two Wednesdays a month from 5:30-7:30. There are no appointments necessary but I'm glad we got there early. Ana likes to spend a lot of time with everyone discussing exactly what they want with their cakes. We got there at 5:00 and there was already a slight line. By the time we left, it was completely packed.
For our cake, we decided on rotating flavors. The bottom tier is vanilla and then it rotates with chocolate (with fudge filling). For my fiance's groom's cake, he chose carrot cake with cream cheese icing.
It was a lot of fun! One of the least stressful parts of wedding planning yet!

Retroactive oil, acrylic, graphite & colored pencil on canvas, 36"x48"I'm back with my first full scale painting since April. I guess you could say it's with a vengeance because this one is 3 x 4 feet. This is for the 2008 ArtSpark Festival. An older piece of mine "Hidden Switches" served as the inspiration for a play that will be performed on July 31st and again on August 14th. I had to create a new piece of art based on my experience with the festival. My inspiration came about when everyone on my team was looking at my painting. For me watching the others interpret an older piece, it was like revisiting something that had almost been forgotten but is affecting something now.

I'm home!! I had a FABULOUS trip with mairesue and ruthette, but I am so extravagantly happy to be home. You have no idea. The Husband of Much Awesomeness took me to Carabba's for dinner, and I am full of chicken and asparagus and ready for a good night's sleep. Look forward to pictures and postiness soon!

Thunder.
Lightning.
Driving Rain.
What's on my mind?
The fact that I brought the garbage to the curb before this happened.
YAY! Go me!!!
